Returned it and Amazon understood and was great as usual with their customer service. Still the same results.
I read the negative and positives about the product and figured that some people just didn't know how to use it. This product has bad craftmanship.
Once, she even let it charge overnite to be certain it had a full charge. I purchased this item for my wife and it worked just fine for the first 2 weeks.
Then it started turning off by itself about 2 minutes after she powered it up. Just bad craftmanship I figure.
(Gotta love these guys)
It was always a dream of mine to walk around in public, wearing a shimmery shim suit, flaying my hands too and fro as I pretend to close imaginary deals. She loved it.Good bye Cyborg man,. It was so small no one noticed.
My day came. All those fantasies of pretending to be more important than I really was were gone. I wished for years that I could talk louder than anyone else in the room, and have everyone wondering, "who the ** is he talking too." I always always always wanted to be that guy.
Every time I yelled using it, my imaginary business partners hung up. I bought the Samsung WEP200. My dreams were crushed.
I gave this to my wife. goodbye.
I first liked this headset when I got it because of the small size and easy fit without an ear hook. And because it is so smooth it does not hang in a bluetooth carrying loop that I had on my cellphone case (slips out). They are reasonably loud and easy to use (volume, On/Off & paring). Charging is simple: drop it in its storage charging case and close the lid.But first, it is somewhat tiny and so you either need to wear it continually in your ear (hardly cool) or risk it getting lost in a purse. The dedicated charging case is also very small and has a dedicated charger with a unique charging tip (does not work with a mini USB connector or most other charging hubs)But the most disappointing failure was that the headset would inexplicably disconnect from my AT&T Tilt in the middle of a call and the re-pairing would need to be done all over again. When you are driving and expecting a hands-free ride, this is a pretty serious problem. So I am replacing it and hoping that Samsung has addressed these problems with the well-reviewed WEP470.
I got this because of the many good reviews I read here on Amazon- maybe it was a different product. The ear hook lasted about three days before snapping. I kinda expected that from the other reviews. But using this thing is SOOOOOO counterintuitive I have missed four out of five calls trying to get the unit to pick up; once I get connected, I have had to take it out of my ear to screw with it to hang up - sorta obviates the reason for buying it; not being distracted while driving.
Though I am able to use this device you have to regularly pair the device to the phone. It's light-weight, fits perfect without the external hook but, after pairing it to the phone I was unable communicate using the set for some unknown reason. I purchased this headset for use with my N900 and on the first day of use I was disappointed. I love to read reviews and I am taking the time to write this review in an effort to guide future shoppers who are looking for guidance before purchasing. Eventually I had to pair it again. It appears when there is long periods of inactivity the headset "disconnects" electronically, yet it says connected to the phone. I like the package and every other thing except the frequency with which one has to reconnect this device to the phone. If SAMSUNG can rectify the problem with this device "dropping" after being paired then I will certainly recommend it. Oh, the LED light can certainly be much smaller.
